Ailish Hawkins, a senior at Newbury Park High in California, placed second in the Marmonte League girls varsity championship cross country race at Agoura High. Hawkins covered the 3-mile course in 17:33.27 for the Panthers, who placed five scorers in the top nine to repeat as champions with a 26-30 victory against Oaks Christian.
