Here is a list of the top 100 Boys Illinois XC teams regardless of class for the 2018 season. Results of 370 Girls teams were analyzed from 2018 meets to come up with this list.

The list complies performances from the entire season and not a team’s last race. There is more emphasis in this list on races contested towards the end of the season using information and results from IHSA.org, Athletic.net, Seasonal Rankings from ILXCTF.com, and Illinois XC Speed Ratings (ilxcspeedratings.com).

Top 60 lists from each classifications are also included.

Top 100 Notes:

• 62 3A schools, 25 2A schools, and 13 1A schools make up the top 100 list

• Belvidere North is the highest ranked 2A team in the top 100 list (#17). Eureka is the highest ranked 1A team to make the top 100 list (#21).

• Palatine (#19) was the highest ranked team in the Top 100 list not to run in the IHSA State Cross Country Meet.

• Oswego East (#31) is the highest ranked team in the top 100 list not to run in a sectional meet.
