We are about two weeks away from the official start of the IHSA XC Season in Illinois. Almost three months later on November 9, we will be crowning IHSA team and individual champions at historic Detweiller Park.
Today, we will look at some of the teams that you could see ranked this year in Illinois sorted by Class and by Sectional.
The IHSA has not released the Sectional Sites and then Sectional Assignments. That should occur sometime in September. I did not list the sectional sites that the IHSA listed on their rotational page. To check back to the IHSA Cross Country page.
With no assignments released yet, schools are listed by sectional order via number. Schools are listed in no order, just schools that fell within the top 10 in the sectional. ILXCTF.com will release their official team rankings and pre-season previews in the middle of August.
